An EGFP sequence was inserted in exon 4 creating a fusion with the N terminal part of the gene, a loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 3, and a loxP site and FRT flanked selection cassette were inserted downstream of exon 6 via homologous recombination. Flp mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. (J:221787)
