45 nucleotides in exon 2 after the start codon that encode an N-terminal signal sequence were deleted. A floxed stop and neomycin resistance cassette was inserted upstream of the modified exon 2. Cre-mediated recombination removed the floxed stop selection cassette. Western blot analysis confirmed expression of only the intracellular isoform in splenocyte. (J:222609)
