A loxP site and FRT-flanked neomycin cassette are introduced into intron 5 of the gene, a second loxP site is placed in intron 7. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neo cassette leaving exons 6 and 7 flanked by loxP sites. (J:234905)
