A targeting vector was designed to have a loxP site upstream of exon 13, and an FRT-flanked neo cassette with 3' loxP site just downstream of exon 15 of the gene. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neo cassette leaving exons 13-15 floxed. (J:166741)
