Exon 12 was replaced with a floxed, modified exon 12 in which nucleotide substitution results in the amino acid substitution of arginine for lysine at position 390 (K390R). Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette inserted downstream of the modified exon 12. (J:222505)
