The mouse Thy1 promoter drives expression of this transgene that includes a mutagenized green fluorescent calcium indicator (GCaMP3), woodchuck hepatitis virus posttranscriptional regulatory element (WPRE), and bovine growth hormone (bGH) polyadenylation sequence. GCaMP consists of a circularly permutated green fluorescent protein (cpGFP), the calcium-binding protein calmodulin (CaM), and CaM-interacting M13 peptide. (J:101977)
