Exons 4 through 9 were replaced with the corresponding human sequence with a mutation in exon 7 that results in the amino acid substitution of arginine with glutamine at position 248 (p.R248Q). Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT site flanked neomycin resistance cassette inserted into intron 10. (J:228632)
