The targeted vector inserted a loxP site and FRT-flanked splice acceptor, IRES sequence and beta-geo cassette upstream of exon 4 and inserted a second loxP site downstream of exon 6. Flp-mediated recombination removed the beta-geo cassette. (J:223124)
