A construct consisting of a floxed neo-stop cassette, chicken PTK2 cDNA with two mutations (Y397E and K454R) a Myc tag and an IRES-EGFP cassette was inserted into the locus. No GFP expression was detected. The mutations disrupt the kinase domain and mimic a constitutively phosphorylated form. (J:217505)
