A single loxP site was inserted 5' to exon 3 and a loxP/FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette was inserted 3' to exon 3 via homologous recombination. Flp-mediated recombination deleted the neo cassette leaving exon 3 floxed. (J:222206)
