The targeting vector is designed to insert a monomeric red fluorescent protein (mCherry) gene and an loxP-flanked ACN cassette downstream of the coding region of the gene. Cre-mediated recombination removed the cassette leaving a single loxP site downstream of the coding region. (J:227542)
