A targeting vector was designed to insert a loxP site upstream of the editing site complementary sequence (ECS) in intron 4, and a second loxP site followed by a loxP-flanked neomycin resistance (neo) cassette downstream of the ECS site in intron 4 of the gene. Cre-mediated recombination removed the floxed neo cassette. (J:144148)
