A C57BL/6 strain mouse BAC clone (RPCI-23-119B7) that contains Mpdz as the only full-length coding gene, was used to inject zygotes. The 135 kb Mpdz coding sequence is positioned in the center of this BAC with an additional 16.0 kb upstream and 18.4 kb downstream of the gene contained within the consruct. (J:226456)
