A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 4 and a FRT-flanked neomycin cassette with a 3' loxP site were inserted downstream of exon 5. Recombination activities removed the neomycin cassette and exons 4 and 5. Western analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression. (J:225609)
