Zinc finger nuclease technology was used to modify exon 2 by deleting CAGTT. This mutation results in a premature stop codon and truncation at amino acid 307 of 853. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein in testes. The allele was isolated in line 84. (J:224588)
