Ddr2^{tm1.1(cre/Esr1*)Rcow}

Part of exon 3 was replaced with two mutated mouse estrogen receptors that sequester cre to the cytoplasm, polyadenylation sequence and an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in cultured cardiac fibroblasts.
