Clone 1A2 was derived from a screen for TCR hybridomas prepared from TH17 intestinal CD4+ T cells responding to fecal material from segmented filamentous bacteria (SFB)-monoassociated mice. The receptor recognizes SFB epitope QFSGAVPNK. CDR3 Vbeta14 (AWSQGGREEQY) and Valpha15 (ATVFMNYNQGKLI) TCR sequences associated with the clone were introduced to vectors that enable transcription under the control of the natural TCRalpha and -beta promoter/enhancer elements.
