The mouse HGF cDNA was inserted in the bidirectional pBI TRE response plasmid containing enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) as a reporter gene. Five transgenic founders were obtained. Fibroblasts from line 24 expressed GFP upon infection with LV-TA1 lentiviral vector carrying tTA under the phosphoglycerate kinase promoter; this line was expanded and studied further. (J:223066)
