A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 5 and an frt-flanked neo cassette was inserted after exon 6, followed by another loxP site. RT-PCR analysis indicates that homozygotes contain only 35% of wild-type Tfap2a levels and RNA analysis indicates that the allele generates aberrant transcripts. (J:88826)
