Transgenic mouse line carrying 8 copies of a reporter tyrosinase construct (TYR5), described previously allowing pigmentation rescue of albino recipient strains and whose expression level is fully dependent on the site of integration and the number of copies of the mouse line. This line expresses intermediate TYR5 levels, resulting in pigmented eyes and grey uniform coat color pigmentation. (J:185183)
