The human SFTPC promoter drives the expression of the full-length mouse Tnf, including the entire 3' UTR. Two lines, 2 and 10, were established. Line 2 with about 10 copies of the transgene was chosen as a representative line. Northern blots confirmed RNA expression in the lungs but not in other tissues (liver, spleen, heart, kidney, uterus, brain, large bowel, lymph nodes). (J:28120)
