A premature stop codon (N35X) was introduced into exon 2. The loxP flanked neo cassette inserted downstream from from the polyadenylation signal was removed via cre-mediated recombination. Expression of the adjacent genes, Slurp2 and Lypd2, are not reduced as is seen in the Slurp1tm1Sgy allele. (J:210836)
