A targeting construct introduced a C to T point mutation in exon 14 that results in the amino acid substitution of isoleucine for threonine at position 670 (T607I). Flp-mediated recombination removed an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site introduced downstream of the modified exon 14. (J:211930)
