A GFP reporter and a floxed neomycin selection cassette replaced exons 1 through 3. This removed the ATG start site, the signal peptide, and the Ig-like ligand binding domain. The cytokine receptor domain is retained. Cre recombination removed the neo selection cassette. (J:216867)
