A targeting vector containing a CAG promoter and a FRT-flanked transcriptional and translational stop sequence with a neomycin resistance gene 5' of the CreERT2 expression cassette was generated. the FRT flanked stop sequence was subsequently excised by expression of flp recombinase. (J:218155)
