The transgenic construct includes a Tet-responsive element (TRE) and exons 1-2 (non-coding) from the mouse prion protein upstream of a Tau-Ubiquitin-Luciferase (TUL) cDNA sequence, followed by mouse prion protein exon 3 (non-coding) and polyadenylation signal.
