The transgenic construct includes a Tet-responsive element (TRE) and exons 1-2 (non-coding) from the mouse prion protein upstream of a Tau-Ubiquitin-Luciferase (TUL) cDNA sequence, followed by mouse prion protein exon 3 (non-coding) and polyadenylation signal. The TUL cDNA sequence encodes a mutant human tau-P301L with C-terminal ubiquitin, followed by a luciferase gene. (J:101977, J:234694)
