Exon 2 was disrupted, a frameshift mutation was created in exon 3 and a floxed selection cassette was inserted via homologous recombination. Cre mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Quantitative RT-PCR confirmed the absence of mRNA expression in homozygous mice. (J:207384)
