Using an engineered BAC from Etn3Ppd mice, the targeting construct replaced exons 2 through 4 of Dusp9 and inserted a neomycin resistance cassette and the 5.5 kb spanning the early transposon element (engineered Etn; eEtn). Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. (J:207896)
