The porcine liver APEH cDNA with an N-terminal T7 tag and C-terminal His tag is under the control of the lens specific chick delta1-crystallin enhancer and alpha-crystallin promoter. This enhancer/promoter directs transgene expression in lens epithelial and fiber cells. Seven lines were established (KKS1, KKS2, KKS3, KKS4, KKS5, KKS6, KKS7). Line KKS4 is entered as a representative line as it is the high expressing line. (J:212432)
