Tg(CMV-HTT*89Q)ATag

The full-length human huntingtin cDNA containing 89 CAG repeats is under the control of the cytomegalovirus promoter and SV40 enhancer. Three lines, A-C, were established. No CAG repeat instability was detected by PCR amplification. Western blot analysis confirmed transgene expression in the brain. Southern blot analysis indicates a copy number of six. (J:50173)
