One loxP site was inserted just downstream of the 5' UTR and a second loxP site was located downstream of the FRT flanked PGK-neo cassette. The selection cassette was inserted just downstream of exon 3. Thus, exons 1-3 are flanked by loxP sites. Susequent germline deletion by cre expression deleted exons 1-3. (J:209127)
