A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 6, the D/G of the Taspase 1 cleavage site in exon 6 were mutated to A/A, and a floxed pgk-neo cassette was inserted downstream of exon 7. Cre mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. Expression of the noncleavable form is increased compared to the processed product. (J:205038)
