This allele contains two loxP sites flanking exons 4 and 5 and an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. Cre-mediated recombination removed exons 4 and 5 floxed. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in mouse embryonic fibroblasts. (J:205601)
