A Venus expression cassette was inserted in frame in the 5' region, a loxP site was inserted 3' of the Venus expression cassette and a floxed inverted pgk-neo cassette was inserted in the 3' region of the gene. Cre mediated recombination removed the neo cassette leaving most of the exons floxed. Reporter expression is similar to endogenous gene expression. (J:203419)
