The targeting construct introduced upstream of the translation start site a tetracycline transactivator, floxed neomycin resistance cassette, polyadenylation sequence and tetracycline response element with CMV promoter (teto5-CMV). In the absence of doxycycline, the endogenous gene is over-expressed. Doxycycline treatment reduces expression. (J:207953)
