A BAC clone (RP23-99k15) was modified using homologous recombination in bacteria to insert an NLS-cre-polyA cassette (nuclear localization signal-cre recombinase-polyadenylation sequence) at the ATG start codon of the Gpr88 gene. The Gpr88-cre fragment was excised, purified and injected into pronuclei of C%7BL/6 zygotes. One transgenic line was obtained. (J:207751)
