Exon 11 was replaced with a modified exon 11 in which nucleotide substitutions result in the amino acid substitution of valine for methionine at positions 281 and 282. Cre-mediated recombination removed the floxed neomycin resistance cassette inserted downstream of exon 12. The product of this allele is predicted to be oxidant-resistant. (J:207291)
