A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 19. A floxed neomycin resistance cassette was inserted downstream of exon 25. Cre-mediated recombination removed exon 19 through 25 and the resistance cassette. RT-PCR confirmed the absence of transcript expression in derived macrophages. (J:202853)
