A floxed neomycin resistance cassette was inserted upstream of exon 7, which contains the membrane spanning domains M1-M3. An additional loxP site was inserted dowsntream of exon 7. Cre-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette and left exon 7 floxed. (J:202763)
