Glycine codon 117 was changed to a serine codon (p.G117S) through a G-to-A point mutation, and an FRT flanked neomycin selection cassette inserted into intron 5. Subsequent breeding to an FLP1 expressing transgenic excised the neomycin selection cassette. The mutation mimics a psoriasis-associated mutation in human. (J:286229)
