A targeting vector was designed to insert a loxP site upstream of exon 2. A frt-flanked neomycin resistance (neo) cassette and a second loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 2. Mutant mice were bred with mice expressing Gt(ROSA)26Sortm1(FLP1)Dym to remove the neo selection cassette. (J:232075)
