The transgene vector was constructed so that mouse Mmp20 cDNA was placed between 4639 bp of the mouse amelogenin promoter and 1127 bp of amelogenin 3' non-coding region that included amelogenin polyadenylation sites. Founder 6 produced intermediate levels of Mmp20 in incisors of mice that did not express the endogenous Mmp20 gene. (J:206207)
