A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 7. A neomycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted downstream of the coding sequence in the 3' UTR in exon 8. Cre-mediated recombination removed the coding sequence of exon 7 and 8. (J:181221)
