Seven tetracycline-inducible regulatory elements drive the inducible expression of Fgf9 and an enhanced green fluorescent protein reporter gene (EGFP). Crossing mice bearing this transgene with mice that express the tetracycline transactivator (tTA) or reverse transactivator (rtTA) protein under the control of a tissue-specific promoter permits regulation by tetracycline withdrawal/administration of the expression of Fgf9 and of the EGFP reporter in the progeny. Five founder lines were generated. The pound symbol (#) is used when line is not specified and/or lines are pooled. (J:107406)
