An eGFP gene followed by a stop codon were inserted in exon 1 and an FRT flanked neo cassette was inserted into intron 1. FLP-recombinase removed PGK-Neo cassette and left behind an FRT-site in intron 1. GFP expression is not detected in homozygous mice by either immunohistochemistry or western blot analysis. (J:203454)
