The mutagenic insertion and chromosome engineering resource (MICER) 5' hprt vector clone MHPN117k13 was used to insert a loxP site at the 5' end of the type II keratin cluster (Krt1c) upstream of Krt80 (between Krt80 and Krt7). This clone contains an insert of 6 kb spanning 101,202,450-101,208,417 bp on chromosome 15 (genome assembly unknown), and includes the tyrosinase (Tyr) coat color gene, an HPRT mini-gene, a loxP site, and a neomycin resistance gene cassette.
