The murine Prnp promoter drives the expression of the smallest 4-repeat human isoform of MAPT (Tau) with the frontotemporal dementia with parkinsonism linked to chromosome 17 (FTDP-17) P301S mutation. Southern blot analysis indicates one integration site and incorporation of approximately 60-70 copies of the transgene. 8 founders were established, however the pound symbol (#) is used when line is not specified and/or lines are pooled.
