A targeting vector was designed to insert loxP sites on either side of exon 2 followed by an FRT-flanked neomycin selection cassette. The neomycin resistance cassette was removed by Flpe-mediated recombination using mice carrying the Tg(CAG-Flpe)2Arte allele. (J:202737)
