A loxP site was inserted upstream of the open reading frame. An FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 5' loxP site was inserted downstream of the open reading frame. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neomycin resistance cassette and left the open reading frame floxed. (J:199663)
