A targeting vector was designed to use for homologous recombination to flank exon 8 of Sgpl1 with loxP sites b. An frt-neo-frt cassette was also inserted. Chimeric mice were crossed to C57BL/6 mice and then crossed with flp deleter mice to remove the neo. (J:199525)
